FC Schalke 04: Veltins (brewer) extends stadium naming rights deal for 10 seasons (2026-2036)

The German brewing company Veltins has extended its partnership with FC Schalke 04 (2.Bundesliga) to retain the club's stadium naming rights for a further ten years, i.e. over the 2026-2036 cycle, announced both parties on 19/12/2025.

Veltins has been the naming rights holder to the Veltins-Arena (61,973 capacity) since 2005-06, for an estimated €6.5m per season over the 2021-2026 cycle. For the 2026-2036 period, Veltins' annual payment is to be adjusted according to the division in which FC Schalke 04 plays (€6.5m for seasons competed in the Bundesliga, and €5m should the club remain in the 2.Bundesliga), according to the German daily Bild. The club is in first place in the 2.Bundesliga halfway through the 2025-26 season (after 17 matchdays), as of 22/12/2025.

"The decade-long commitment underlines the trust in the shared path and strengthens the club’s long-term outlook. In addition to the naming rights of the Veltins-Arena, the brewery will also retain the pouring rights and various advertising rights," added FC Schalke 04.
