Forbes: four football clubs among the world’s 50 most valuable sports teams in 2025

Two clubs from LALIGA EA Sports - Real Madrid CF (20^th, $6.75bn/€5.73bn) and FC Barcelona (42^nd, $5.65bn/€4.8bn) - and two from the Premier League - Manchester United FC (24^th, $6.6bn/€5.6bn) and Liverpool FC (48^th, $5.4bn/€4.6bn) - are the four football clubs featured in the 2025 edition of the ”World’s 50 Most Valuable Sports Teams” ranking published by the American business magazine Forbes, on 18/12/2025.

There were seven football clubs in the ranking in 2023 and 2024, with Manchester City FC (Premier League), FC Bayern Munich (Bundesliga) and Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1 McDonald's).

"The 50 top teams are worth more than $353bn (€301bn), or an average of $7.1bn (€6bn) each - up 22% from 2024 and more than double the mark from just four years ago," said Forbes.

As has been the case since 2016, the Dallas Cowboys (NFL) top the ranking, with a valuation of $13bn (€11bn). "Six years ago, the world’s most valuable team was worth $5bn. Today, that figure would not even be enough to make the Top 50," added Forbes.
