Belgium/Pro League: CEPANI (arbitrator) orders DAZN to continue broadcasting matches

"The Pro League has received and analysed the decision regarding the interim measures it had requested against DAZN. The emergency arbitrator (The Belgian Arbitration and Mediation Centre, or CEPANI) confirms that DAZN must comply with its obligations," announced the Belgian League on 31/12/2025.

DAZN "must continue to make payments as contractually agreed, continue to ensure the production and broadcasting of matches, comply with the anti-piracy measures and geo-blocking provisions promised, and negotiate with telecommunications operators to conclude distribution agreements," said the Pro League.

The streaming service, which initially held the full and exclusive domestic TV rights to the Pro League competitions (Jupiler Pro League, Challenger Pro League, Croky Cup, Supercup, Lotto Super League) for the 2025-2030 cycle, said on 25/11 that it was terminating the contract after failing to reach agreement with at least two operators for the distribution of the competitions (a necessary condition for compliance with the contract).
