Spain/Liga F: boots provided to female players without a sponsor as part of collective agreement

The provision of football boots to players who do not have a contract with a sports equipment manufacturer is among the measures included in the collective agreement signed between Liga F clubs and the players' unions FUTPRO, Futbolistas ON and CCOO, announced the Spanish women's football league on 02/01/2026.

"This initiative by Liga F represents a firm and real commitment to the protection and professionalisation of the league's female players and aims to ensure that they all have the necessary sports equipment to play in the best possible conditions, regardless of their contractual situation with sports brands, by promoting the joint work that has been done and reminding them that every step they take on the pitch is supported by a framework that protects their rights and the dignity of their profession," added the body chaired by Beatriz Álvarez.
