LALIGA Hypermotion: RC Deportivo plans a €30.1m capital increase

The board of Real Club Deportivo de La Coruña (LALIGA Hypermotion), which met on 30/12/2025, has called for an extraordinary general shareholders' assembly on 05/02/2026 to approve a proposed €30.1m capital increase, announced the club on 05/01/2026.

This capital increase consists of the issuance of 53,794,643 new shares, with an issue premium of €0.48 per share and a nominal value of €0.08, representing a total amount of €30.1m

The transaction is aimed at the RC Deportivo’s current shareholders. It is being carried out to "strengthen the club’s financial stability and its resources to address sporting and administrative challenges," added the club, chaired by Juan Carlos Escotet, who is also president of the Spanish bank Abanca, which has owned RC Deportivo since 2020.
