Ligue 1: adidas and the LFP present the official ball for the 2015-16 season

The German sports equipment manufacturer adidas and the LFP have unveiled the official match ball of Ligue 1 for the 2015-16 season, on 22/05/2015. The ball, with black, blue and red lines, is available in adidas stores, the e-shop of the brand and in all authorised distributors at a price €130.

A replica version is also available from €30. The new ball will be used for the first time in the 2015 Champions Trophy, the French "super cup", which pits the winner of the 2014-15 Ligue 1 championship (Paris Saint-Germain) against the winner of the 2014-15 Coupe de France (French association cup, Paris Saint-Germain versus AJ Auxerre in the final on 30/05/2015).

If Paris Saint-German also win the Coupe de France, Olympique Lyonnais, second place in the 2014-15 Ligue 1, would participate in the 2015 Champions Trophy at the Stade Saputo (20,500 seats) in Montreal (Canada) on 01/08/2015.

• adidas has equipped Ligue 1 since 2012-13. The German sports equipment manufacturer is committed for a period of five years, until 2017.
