Olympique Lyonnais: almost 13 million visitors and over 350 events at Groupama Stadium in 10 years

Groupama Stadium (Décines-Charpieu, near Lyon, FRA), owned by Olympique Lyonnais (Ligue 1 McDonald's), has welcomed "nearly 13 million visitors" over "more than 350 events" since its inauguration on 09/01/2016, announced the club a decade later, on 01/01/2026.

The venue, first used for the match between Olympique Lyonnais and ESTAC Troyes (Matchday 20 of the 2015-16 Ligue 1 season), holds three attendance records, broken down as follows:
• Olympique Lyonnais: 58,257 spectators for the reception of Paris Saint-Germain (2025-26 Ligue 1), on 09/11/2025;
• OL Lyonnes: 38,466 for the reception of PSG in the 2023-24 Women's Champions League semi-final, on 20/04/2024;
• concerts: 72,561 spectators to see the group Indochine, on 25/06/2022.

To mark the 10^th anniversary of its stadium, Olympique Lyonnais will stage an anniversary match for the reception of Stade Brestois 29 on Sunday 18/01/2026 (Matchday 18 of Ligue 1).
