Ligue 1 McDonald's: Avatarz (tech, ex Rarecubes) extends as official partner of AS Monaco until 2027-28

Avatarz, a tech company specialising in digital avatars and AI-based experiences, has extended as an official partner (3rd level) of AS Monaco FC (Ligue 1 McDonald's) until 2027-28, announced the club on 13/01/2026. The initial agreement was signed in May 2023, when the company was known as Rarecubes.

As part of this renewed partnership, the two organisations will offer Monaco fans "digital, immersive, interactive and personalised experiences," such as a contest to create the club’s official virtual shirt, an initiative already implemented in 2024-25.

"Beyond this project, AS Monaco and Avatarz will continue to develop mini-games, interactive scripted experiences, and event activations around selected fixtures throughout the season. Fans will also have the opportunity to create and customise their own online avatar," said the club, which aims to "consolidate its digital strategy by exploring innovative uses."
