2025-26 Arkema Première Ligue: record average attendance of 2,086 spectators per match at mid-season

A total of 137,683 spectators attended the 66 matches in the first 11 matchdays (out of 22) of the 2025-26 Arkema Première Ligue, i.e. an average of 2,086 per match, up 36% on the 2024-25 mid-season (100,963 cumulative spectators, average of 1,530 per match), announced the Ligue Féminine de Football Professionnel on 12/01/2026.

This increase is due in particular to 33 matches (50% of the total) played in "premium stadiums". This trend is set to continue, with almost 70 matches expected to be played in these stadiums by the end of the season, more than in the last three years (43 in 2022-23 and 2023-24; 55 in 2024-25).

FC Nantes Féminines is the team with the highest average attendance after 11 matchdays, with 5,776 spectators per match, ahead of OL Lyonnes (5,001) and RC Lens (4,277), which have been promoted for the 2025-26 season.

The Nantes club also recorded two of the three highest attendance figures over the period thanks to matches held at the Stade de La Beaujoire:
