Los Angeles 2028: registration for the ticket draw open from Wednesday 14/01/2026

"Registration for the LA28 ticket draw opens on 14/01/2026 (912 days before the opening ceremony on 14/07/2028) with Olympic tickets on sale later in 2026 and Paralympic tickets available for purchase in 2027," announced the organising committee on 13/01/2026.

A pre-sale is reserved for residents of Los Angeles and Oklahoma City (in Oklahoma, where the Olympic softball tournament and canoe slalom events will take place, 2,200 kilometres east of Los Angeles) from 02 to 06/04/2026. "This exclusive pre-sale period will allow local residents to secure their seats by purchasing tickets starting at $28 (€24) before they go on sale to the general public," said the organisers.

"The LA28 Olympics will mark the biggest Games ever, featuring 36 sports and 51 disciplines across 49 competition venues in 18 zones throughout the Los Angeles region and Oklahoma City. The Olympic opening ceremony will take place on 14/07/2028, and the closing ceremony on 30/07/2028," according to the IOC.
