TotalEnergies AFCON 2025/semi-final: head-to-head Senegal - Egypt, on Wednesday 14/01/2026 (18:00 CET)

Egypt (Egyptian Football Association) had 4.3 million followers on social media (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok & X) on 14/01, two times as many as Senegal (Fédération Sénégalaise de Football) and its 2.1 million followers, as the two teams prepare to face each other in the semi-final of the TotalEnergies AFCON 2025 at the Grand Stade de Tanger (75,600 capacity, Morocco), on Wednesday 14/01/2026 (kick-off at 18:00 CET).

Egypt, the country that has won the competition the most times in history (seven times between 1957 and 2010), has been equipped by Puma since 2018. Senegal, winners of the AFCON in 2021, also wear kits supplied by the German brand, under a partnership signed in 2018 that runs until 2026.

The winner of this semi-final will face either Nigeria or Morocco, who meet in the other semi-final also scheduled for 14/01 (at 21:00), in the final on Sunday 18/01/2026 (kick-off at 20:00).
