Germany: Bitvavo (crypto) official sponsor of the DFB for the national teams and the DFB-Pokal until 2030

Bitvavo, a Dutch cryptocurrency exchange platform, has become an official partner of the Deutscher Fussball Bund for five years (2026-2030), announced the body on 14/01/2026.

The agreement covers the German national teams (men's, women's, men's U21 and women's U23) as well as the DFB-Pokal, the DFB-Pokal Frauen, the Google Pixel Supercup der Frauen and the futsal national team.

This is the DFB's first partnership with a cryptopcurrency company. "With this unique collaboration, both partners want to join forces and further familiarise German consumers and football fans with the secure purchase, sale and storage of cryptocurrencies," said the DFB, according to which "around 10 million consumers invest around and trade in cryptocurrencies in Germany, and another 10 million have a keen interest and may become active in the near future."
