Social media: FC Barcelona "1^st sports club in the world" to reach 25 million subscribers on YouTube

FC Barcelona (LALIGA EA Sports) has become "the first sports club in the world to reach 25 million subscriptions on YouTube," announced the club on 14/01/2026.

Barça had reached the 20 million fan mark on the video platform in January 2025. "During 2025, Barça’s channel recorded a 60% increase in new subscriptions compared to 2024, consolidating YouTube as one of its key digital assets. The strong focus on YouTube Shorts, with 70% more uploads than in 2024, has helped expand the brand’s reach and connect with new audiences," said the Catalan club.

This growth has been further strengthened by the launch of YouTube Membership, "a key initiative aimed at building a high-quality community by offering exclusive benefits and content. Fans from all over the world can become part of this community and enjoy the full range of benefits available at each membership level".

On YouTube, Barça is ahead of FIFA (24.5 million subscribers), the NBA (23.8 million) and Real Madrid CF (19 million).
