TotalEnergies AFCON 2025/final: head-to-head Senegal - Morocco, on Sunday 18/01/2026 (20:00 CET)

Morocco (FRMF) had 10.5 million followers on social media (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok & X) on 16/01, 5 times as many as Senegal (FSF) and its 2.1 million followers, as the two teams prepare to face each other in the final of the TotalEnergies AFCON 2025 at the Stade Prince Moulay Abdellah (69,500 capacity) in Rabat (Morocco), on Sunday 18/01/2026 (kick-off at 20:00 CET).

Morocco is the host country of the competition (which it has already won in 1976) four and a half years before co-hosting the 2030 World Cup alongside Spain and Portugal. The ”Atlas Lions” have been equipped by Puma since 2019, while their rivals, the ”Lions of Teranga”, winners of the AFCON in 2021, also wear kits supplied by the German brand, under a partnership signed in 2018 that runs until 2026.

Morocco's squad is valued at €435.5m according to the Transfermarkt website as of 16/01/2026, compared with €405.9m for Senegal.

The winner of the final will receive $10m (€8.5m) from the Confederation of African Football, while the losing finalist will receive $4m (€3.4m).
