• LALIGA welcomed a Brazilian delegation to Madrid, which included representatives from the CBF, regional federations and clubs from the Brazilian first and second divisions, who came to study the Spanish model of club economic control.
• Luxembourg-based investment fund V Sports, which already owns Aston Villa FC (Premier League), is to acquire a 30% stake in FC Annecy (Ligue 2 BKT), according to the French daily L’Équipe.
• Socios.com (blockchain), sponsor of the Asociación del Fútbol Argentino, has halted payments to "intermediaries" associated with the body and called for the resignation of its president, Claudio Tapia. The group claims that only a small portion of the $9m paid to the AFA through intermediaries was actually received by the Federation.
• The Confederation of African Football has partnered with Netflix to broadcast highlights of the Total Energies AFCON 2025 games on the streaming platform in sub-Saharan Africa.
