Nike: Cesar Garcia appointed vice president & general manager for the EMEA region from 02/02/2026

Cesar Garcia has been appointed vice president and general manager of Nike for the EMEA region, effective from 02/02, announced the American equipment manufacturer on 20/01/2026.

The Spaniard will succeed Carl Grebert, who had been holding this position since September 2020. Cesar Garcia was vice president, global product merchandising, operations, data science & analytics at Nike since June 2023.

"Throughout his nearly 25 years at Nike, Cesar has led through moments of growth and reset across category, regional and enterprise roles. His leadership across globally visible businesses has reshaped how Nike competes across markets. He was instrumental in growing Nike’s Men’s business across Asia Pacific and Latin America (APLA), scaled Nike Run Club into one of the world’s largest digital running communities, and led Nike from the No. 2 to No. 1 running brand in Japan through product innovation and culturally relevant collaborations," said the group, whose European headquarters are based in Hilversum, near Amsterdam (Netherlands).
