World Rugby: Macron extends as match officials kit supplier for four years (2026-2029)

Macron has extended its partnership with World Rugby and will remain the official sports apparel supplier of Rugby World Cup tournaments (men's and women's) as well as the match officials kit supplier for the body's competitions, announced the international federation on 21/01/2026. This extended agreement covers the 2026-2029 cycle (four years).

The Italian brand became a global partner, i.e. the second level in World Rugby's sponsorship hierarchy, on 20/01/2022. The agreement provides for Macron to supply "technical and athleisure apparel for World Rugby match officials, staff and volunteers, as well as official tournament merchandising collections," said the body.

"The partnership will cover some of the sport’s most prestigious global events, including the Men's World Cup 2027 and the Women’s World Cup 2029 in Australia, alongside World Rugby’s annual competition calendar including tournaments such as the HSBC SVNS Series."
