NBA/Prime Video: record audiences for the two games played in London (ENG) and Berlin (GER)

Prime Video has recorded record audiences for the NBA Games played in Berlin (Germany, on 15/01) and London (England, on 18/01), announced the American group Amazon, owner of the streaming platform, on 22/01/2026.

The first game between Orlando Magic and Memphis Grizzlies (118-111) at Berlin's Uber Arena was "the most watched regular season game ever in Germany and the most watched NBA game in Europe in 2025-26," according to Amazon.

In the United Kingdom, the second game held at London's O2 Arena and won by the Grizzlies (126-109) set "an all-time record for a London game in Europe, with viewership up 90% from the last NBA game held in London in 2019".

"As of 02/01/2026, the average NBA audience on Prime in Europe this season is nearly three times higher (+184%) compared to the previous season, based on an equivalent number of matches. Over the same period, the average NBA audience on Prime Video has grown more than fourfold in the United Kingdom (+312%) and threefold in Germany (+246%)," added Amazon.
