Olympique de Marseille: fans invited to design the 2027-28 Puma third kit using an AI platform

Olympique de Marseille (Ligue 1 McDonald's) and its German equipment supplier Puma have launched an AI platform for fans to create the 2027-28 third kit, announced the two parties on 23/01/2026.

Fans must use a short text prompt and customisation tools to create a kit on the platform, named Puma AI Creator and exclusively owned by the brand, between 23/01 and 01/02, as well as rate the other creations.

Following fan voting, Puma and Olympique de Marseille will select the top ten designs, which will be submitted to a final public vote on 11 and 11/02. The winning design will be worn by Marseille players on the pitch and sold in stores during the 2027-28 season.

The designer of the winning kit will receive a framed kit signed by the team, two VIP tickets to a match, and a Puma care package, as well as the Top 10 finalists (or a digital PUMA gift card).

Puma, which is OM's equipment supplier since the 2018-19 season, had already launched a similar initiative in December 2024 aimed at Manchester City FC (Premier League) fans, inviting them to design the 2026-27 third kit.
