RC Celta: partnership with Wakatake (training) extended and aimed at expansion in the US and Scandinavia

RC Celta (LALIGA EA Sports) has extended its partnership with Wakatake Group, a Japanese organisation specialised in the training of young players, announced the club on 23/01/2026.

The renewed agreement includes "on one hand, the consolidation of a long-standing relationship (started in 2018) based on the development of player experiences integrated into the club’s youth football system, hosting groups in Vigo and organising official Celta clinics in Japan," according to the club.

"On the other hand, the agreement incorporates a second line aimed at the international expansion of the project beyond Japan, with the inclusion of TFL (training, ESP) as a new strategic partner. This collaboration will allow joint work on the development of programmes and experiences in markets such as the United States and Scandinavia, expanding the project’s global reach."
