Ligue 1 TV rights: beIN ordered to settle all outstanding payments (€14m) owed to the LFP

"The LFP and LFP Media acknowledge the favourable ruling handed down today by the Paris Court of Economic Activities in the dispute between LFP Media and beIN SPORTS regarding the rules for selecting and scheduling matches and the failure of beIN SPORTS France to pay part of the amounts due since the start of the 2025-26 season," announced the Ligue de Football Professionnel on 27/01/2026.

The Paris Court of Economic Activities dismissed all of beIN SPORTS' claims and ordered the group to pay LFP Media "€14m in outstanding balances." beIN paid only €14m (out of €18m) on the first instalments for the exclusive TV rights to one game per matchday of Ligue 1 McDonald's for the 2025-26 season (€78.5m per year from 2024-25).
