FIFA: the Women's World Cup 2027 visual and sonic identity unveiled in host country Brazil

FIFA has unveiled the emblem, slogan and sonic identity of the Women's World Cup 2027 at an event held in Copacabana (Rio de Janeiro) in Brazil, host country of the tournament (scheduled from 24/06 to 25/07/2027), on 25/01/2026.

The competition's logo "is inspired by the Brazilian flag and the geometry of the football pitch, crafted from the union of W ("women", "world") and M (from the equivalent Portuguese words "mulheres" and "mundo")," said FIFA. This emblem is complemented by the slogan “Go Epic” and a sonic identity inspired by samba, traditional Brazilian music.

The launch ceremony "brought together icons from the women’s and men’s game, symbolising the football family and a shared future for the sport," added the international federation.
