ACF Fiorentina: Giuseppe Commisso succeeds his late father Rocco Commisso as president

Giuseppe Commisso, son of Rocco Commisso, president of ACF Fiorentina (Serie A Enilive) who passed away on 17/01, has succeeded him following a decision by the shareholders’ general meeting, announced the club on 27/01/2026.

Giuseppe Commisso has been a board member of Fiorentina since June 2019, i.e. since the club was acquired by his father (see below). The club also confirmed Mark Stephan as CEO and Alessandro Ferrari as general manager. Catherine Commisso, wife of Rocco and mother of Giuseppe, has joined the board of directors as a member.

"I am deeply committed to carrying forward my father’s legacy and the vision he has built for Fiorentina. We will continue to work with determination to strengthen the club, in full respect of its values, its history, and its bond with the city and its supporters, just as my father has done to date," said Giuseppe Commisso, who is also a board member of Mediacom Communications, the American telecommunications company founded by Rocco Commisso.
