FIFA: Greg Dyke, the chairman of the Football Association, says he will vote for Ali Bin Al Hussein

"We should stress this morning's (27/05/2015) developments are very serious for FIFA and its current leadership. As one of the associations who nominated Prince Ali it will not surprise you to learn that if the election for president goes ahead the FA will be voting for him," announced Greg Dyke, the chairman of the English Football Association, on 27/05/2015.

Seven leading international football officials (six at dawn and one later in the morning) were arrested in their hotel in Zurich (SUI) on 27/05/2015, on the eve of the opening of the FIFA Congress (28 and 29/05/2015), in which the president of the international federation will be elected for the 2015-2019 period. This election will put the Swiss Joseph Blatter, 79, the president of FIFA since 1998, against the Jordanian Prince Ali Bin Al Hussein, 39 years old, the president of the Jordanian federation and a vice-president of FIFA.

"Clearly things are changing very quickly and our delegation to the FIFA congress in Zurich, which I am leading, will discuss the position and what we should do about it with our colleagues in UEFA…
