Eintracht Frankfurt: president Mathias Beck to stand for re-election in 2027

Mathias Beck, president of Eintracht Frankfurt (Bundesliga) since February 2024, will stand for re-election at the club’s elections scheduled for early 2027, he announced during the general assembly held on 27/01/2026.

"Since he took office, the number of members has increased by 21,000, bringing the club’s membership to more than 160,000. Growth in the various sporting sections, which now account for more than 16,000 members, is particularly encouraging. This success is notably driven by the continuous development of infrastructure, the identification of target groups and the diversification of sporting disciplines, in order to offer opportunities to an ever-wider audience and further promote elite sport," said the club.

"The financial situation has stabilised over the past two years and a large proportion of tax arrears has been cleared," added Eintracht Frankfurt.
