• FIFA has officially opened an office in Rio de Janeiro ahead of the 2027 Women's World Cup to be held in Brazil. According to the international federation, 76 employees have already been recruited, 65% of whom are women.
• Manchester City FC (Premier League) have signed an agreement with real estate developer Ohana Development to launch a club-branded residential project in Abu Dhabi. Named Manchester City Yas Residences by Ohana, the programme covers 1.67 million square metres.
• Zlatan Ibrahimovic and players from AC Milan (Serie A Enilive) are featured in a commercial for the Milan-Cortina 2026 Winter Games.
• LFP Media has reportedly reached an agreement with FIFA to acquire the full TV rights to the 2026 World Cup for its Ligue 1+ streaming platform in France, according to L'Equipe.
