Euroleague Basketball: Chus Bueno (ex-DAZN and NBA) succeeds Paulius Motiejunas as CEO

Spain's Chus Bueno has been unanimously elected by the board of directors of Euroleague Commercial Assets (the legal entity) to the position of CEO of Euroleague Basketball (the operating company), "effective in the coming days," said the European body announced on 30/01/2026.

He succeeds Paulius Motiejunas, who was appointed to this position on 15/06/2023 (having replaced Marshall Glickman) and whose term of office was extended until 2028 on 13/03/2024. "The clubs would like to express their gratitude to Paulius Motiejunas for his service, commitment and dedication during his tenure. Under his guidance, the organization has achieved important milestones and continuous growth that have helped strengthen its position within the basketball ecosystem. The ECA Board of Directors, on behalf of all Euroleague Basketball clubs wish him every success in his future professional endeavors," said the body.
