UEFA: South Korean company Hankook (tyres) extends deal with the Europa League until 2017-18

The South Korean tyre manufacturer Hankook extended its partnership with the Europa League for three seasons (2015-16 to 2017-2018) on 27/05/2015.

The contract is valued at €6m per season, which is twice the amount paid for the 2012-2015 period. Hankook remains a second-level partner of the competition. The company will continue to receive visibility on the LED advertising boards as well as pitch-side spaces. FedEx, an American company specialising in international freight transport, became the main partner of the Europa League for three seasons (2015-16 to 2017-2018), announced UEFA on 15/05/2015.

The Europa League represents 14.1% of the 2013-14 revenues of UEFA. The organisation generated €328.5m in commercial revenues this season.
