FIFA/Women’s Champions Cup: “A new era for women's club football” (Gianni Infantino)

The president of the international federation had just watched Arsenal FC become the first women’s intercontinental club champions after defeating Brazil’s SC Corinthians (3-2 after extra time) at Arsenal Stadium in London (ENG).

"The FIFA Women’s Champions Cup, which brings together the six continental club champions, was launched alongside the FIFA Women’s Club World Cup and aims to accelerate the development of women’s club football," said FIFA.
