VfL Wolfsburg: rollout of the ChatGPT Enterprise solution (OpenAI) to 350 employees

VfL Wolfsburg (Bundesliga) is introducing the ChatGPT Enterprise solution, developed by US artificial intelligence company OpenAI, across the club in order to "create a standardised and secure foundation for the use of artificial intelligence," announced the club on 04/02/2026.

ChatGPT Enterprise will be gradually rolled out to around 350 VfL Wolfsburg employees, with "tailor-made applications for recurring tasks as well as internal contacts, ensuring that innovation reaches everyday work".

The club has been using generative AI since 2023 "to simplify processes, make knowledge accessible and ensure quality, whether related to turf diseases, translations or structuring information. AI helps save time and creates more room for tasks that require personal experience, exchange and passion".

VfL Wolfsburg had, in collaboration with audit and consulting firm Deloitte, published a white paper on the use of generative artificial intelligence on 21/06/2024 (see ”Further reading” section).
