Video games: EA Sports announces the presence of female teams in FIFA16

The US / Canadian video game publisher EA Sports has announced the presence of 12 women's national teams in FIFA16 edition on 28/05/2015. The 12 teams will be: Germany, USA, France, Sweden, England, Brazil, Canada, Australia, Spain, China, Italy, and Mexico.

The game maker wishes in particular to develop its sales in North America. The US and Canada represent nearly half (47%) of the 4.8 million licensed football players worldwide, according to the Swiss CIES Football Observatory, in a study prepared for the women's game, and using data collected in 2014 by FIFA; the report was published on 11/02/2015.

The 2015 Women's World Cup is taking place in Canada from 06/06 to 05/07/2015. FIFA16 should be released worldwide in late September 2015.
