France: beanies offered by the LFP and its clubs to supporters affected by alopecia

The Ligue de Football Professionnel, as part of its 1TEAM CSR programme, has partnered with the Rafaël Institute, the "first European centre for integrative medicine," by launching a "solidarity campaign aimed at supporters undergoing treatment that causes alopecia (accelerated hair or body hair loss)," announced the LFP on 04/02/2026.

The initiative, launched on the occasion of World Cancer Day (04/02), consisted of the design and donation of "beanies made from the same material as jerseys, breathable and non-irritating," intended for supporters affected by alopecia. It is the "first sports merchandising item entirely offered by the LFP and the clubs," said the League.

"Moving away from traditional marketing practices, this initiative is part of an awareness and support approach, offering an item conceived as a gesture of support rather than a commercial product.
