NFL/France: "We’re not here to stage a game and leave, we’re here to stay" (Brett Gosper)

"We don't just want to stage a game and then leave France. Our model is to continue with a certain rhythm after the first game. Is it one a year? One every two years? It's not clear yet. What is certain is that we are here to stay. Organising a game and leaving is not our ambition at all. On 02/02/2026, the National Football League announced that it will stage a 2026 regular season game at Stade de France (80,000 capacity, Saint-Denis), the first NFL game in France. The game will be organised in partnership with GL events, the event services group that signed a 30-year concession agreement (from 05/08/2025 to 04/08/2055) with the French State, owner of the stadium, for the operation of Stade de France, on 12/06/2025.
