FC St. Pauli: commercial director Wilken Engelbracht to leave at the end of the 2025-26 season

Wilken Engelbracht, commercial director of 1. FC St. Pauli (Bundesliga) since October 2023, will leave his position at the end of the 2025-26 season, the club announced on 05/02/2026.

The German executive "has informed the supervisory board of his intention to pursue new professional opportunities. FC St. Pauli will now further develop its management structure and strengthen the role of democratically elected bodies in its day-to-day governance. The commercial departments will henceforth report directly to the supervisory board. The objective is to clarify responsibilities, shorten decision-making processes and strengthen the democratic legitimacy of decisions,” said the Hamburg-based club.

"With Wilken Engelbracht, the club recorded consistently positive results and, for the first time, exceeded €100m in revenue in 2024-25. His achievements include the successful implementation of the first cooperative structure in professional football, the continuous growth of sponsorship revenues and the delivery of major infrastructure projects," added FC St. Pauli.
