Spain: LALIGA and the RFEF sign separate partnerships with the Chinese Football Association

LALIGA and the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) have signed separate partnerships with the Chinese Football Association (CFA), focused on "strengthening institutional cooperation and developing football in China," announced the Spanish league and federation on 05/02/2026.

The partnership between the CFA and LALIGA establishes a three-year, renewable cooperation framework centred on player development (training placements in Spanish academies, exchange programmes), coach education, the sharing of technical expertise, and the strengthening of ties between Spanish clubs and the Chinese football ecosystem.

The agreement signed with the RFEF focuses on the development of technical exchanges, particularly in grassroots football, "ranging from data analysis sharing and cooperation in international tournaments to broadcasting rights and public relations".
