FC Inter Milan: opening of two academies in Australia, in Sydney and Adelaide, in April 2026

FC Inter Milan (Serie A Enilive) will open two academies in Australia, one in Sydney and the other in Adelaide, in April 2026, announced the club on 09/02/2026.

The two new structures "will offer training programmes based on Inter's methodology, will contribute to the development of young footballers on a global scale and will strengthen the links between Australian and European football".

The Sydney academy is established in collaboration with Christian Brothers' High School, while the Adelaide one is developed in partnership with semi-professional club Adelaide Blue Eagles.

This announcement comes two months after the relocation of the AC Milan - Como 1907 match to Perth (Australia), scheduled for 08/02/2026 as part of Matchday 24 of the 2025-26 Serie A Enilive season, was cancelled (see "Further reading" section).

• Inter Milan had already opened an academy in Australia, in Brisbane, in June 2018, before it closed its doors.
