Premier League: BYD (car manufacturer, CHN) official partner of Manchester City FC from 2025-26

BYD (short for "Build Your Dreams"), a Chinese car manufacturer, has become an official partner of Manchester City FC (Premier League) from the 2025-26 season, announced the club on 11/02/2026. The duration of the partnership, which covers the men's and women's teams (Barclays Women's Super League), has not been communicated.

As part of the agreement, the manufacturer will have the status of "automotive partner" and will in particular supply BYD and DENZA vehicles to the club. The group will also be responsible for vehicle charging and energy-storage batteries at City Football Academy.

BYD will also become the sleeve sponsor for the men's team training kit from 2025-26 and for the women's team from 2026-27. The Chinese manufacturer will have visibility on the LED signage of the Etihad Stadium (53,480 capacity) and on the headrests of the touchline benches. "BYD will also support future global community initiatives, working closely with City Football Foundation".
