• UEFA's 55 national associations members will now vote every year to elect the best male and female referees of the season, based on a shortlist of five names drawn up by the European Confederation's Refereeing Committee.
• Joan Laporta, president of FC Barcelona (LALIGA EA Sports), and part of the club’s board of directors have resigned in order to stand again in the presidential elections scheduled for 15/03/2026.
• The Deutscher Fussball Bund has appointed British agency Beyond Hospitality to market its hospitality packages for a three-year period (2026-2029).
• The Fox audiovisual group has acquired the broadcasting rights to the Bundesliga in Mexico and Central America for the 2026-2031 period (five seasons).
