DAZN: launch of a new feature allowing fans to chat live with players in partnership with The Residency

DAZN has launched a new feature on its platform in collaboration with the football player chat platform The Residency, allowing fans to engage directly with professional players in a dedicated live session, announced the UK streaming service on 11/02/2026.

"This unique community feature, integrated directly into the DAZN mobile app, will allow fans to share their thoughts, ask questions, and engage directly with players during dedicated live sessions. To ensure truly global participation, live AI-powered translation functionality will enable fans to communicate and read responses in their preferred language," said DAZN.

The first session will take place with Alejandro Balde (FC Barcelona) on Wednesday 18/02/2026. Lautaro Martínez (FC Inter Milan), Enzo Fernández (Chelsea FC) and Fermín López (FC Barcelona) will also take part in these live sessions with fans. The first two sessions will only be available on DAZN in Spain, while the following ones will be available worldwide on the platform.
