LFP Media: departure of Martin Aurenche, senior director of media since March 2023

Martin Aurenche has stepped down from his position as senior director of media at LFP Media, announced the Ligue de Football Professionnel on 17/02/2026. He had held this position since March 2023.

"Martin Aurenche notably oversaw the internalisation of the management of the LFP competitions’ international rights, whose revenues increased significantly. He also supported the strengthening of match production activities and the implementation of a unified organisation for the production and distribution of content intended for international broadcasters".

"Under the leadership of Nicolas de Tavernost, Martin Aurenche also played a role in the preparation and launch of the Ligue 1+ platform by overseeing the extension of agreements for the technical solution and by participating in the platform’s distribution negotiations," added the LFP.

The departure of the former beIN SPORTS executive comes as Nicolas de Tavernost has also announced that he will soon step down from his role as CEO of LFP Media due to disagreements with several clubs following the loss of the TV rights for the 2026…
