Liga BBVA: Estrella Galicia (beer) extends with Celta de Vigo and Deportivo La Coruña until 2015-16

The beer brand Estrella Galicia has extended its partnerships with Celta de Vigo (Liga BBVA) and RCD Deportivo La Coruña (Liga BBVA) for the 2015-16 season, on 25/05/2015.

The brand, which comes from Galicia (northwest Spain), will be present on the shirts of these two Galicia region clubs: on the back of the shirt for Celta and on the front for Deportivo. "This is an important contract for us, the investment will be doubled compared to the 2014-15 season," said Ignacio Rivera, CEO of Estrella Galicia, at the announcement of the extension with Celta de Vigo, on 25/05/2015. Celta generated €4m in sponsorship revenue during the 2014-15 season.

  • The contract between the beer brand and Deportivo La Coruña is estimated at €500,000 in 2014-15.
