SC Freiburg: sleeve sponsor Lexware (softwares) to become main shirt sponsor from the 2026-27 season

Lexware, a German software editor, has extended its partnership with SC Freiburg (Bundesliga) to become its main shirt sponsor from the 2026-27 season, announced the club on 19/02/2026.

The brand initially became a partner and the sleeve sponsor of the German club in 2023-24, and has been the main shirt sponsor of its youth teams since 2024-25. As part of their agreement, both partners have also supported various projects for recreational sports clubs in the Freiburg region, including soccer camps, training sessions and renovation of public facilities.

Lexware will succeed Jobrad, a bicycle rental company, which was the club's main shirt sponsor since 2023-24. With this expanded agreement, which also covers the men's U23 team, the German brand will benefit from visibility at the Europa-Park Stadion (34 700 places) "as well as presenting and activation rights, for example on the club's digital channels. A new component of the partnership is sleeve sponsorship for the SC women's team, where Lexware already acts as co-sponsor," said the club.
