Cagliari Calcio: minority US investors increase stake from 20% to 49%

The US-based investor group led by Maurizio Fiori and Prashant Gupta, minority shareholder of Cagliari Calcio (Serie A Enilive) with a 20% stake since November 2025, has increased its stake to 49%, announced the club on 20/02/2026.

Tommaso Giulini, president of Cagliari since 2014 via his company Fluorsid Group, remains majority shareholder following the sale of a further 29% stake in the Sardinian club.

"The transaction is part of the club’s long-term growth and development plan and further strengthens a partnership built on a shared strategic vision. The collaboration is aimed at supporting the new stadium project and the structural, financial and organisational strengthening of Cagliari Calcio, within a framework of full continuity in the club’s management," said the club.

The club filed its economic and financial plan (PEF) and the technical documentation relating to the new stadium project with the competent authorities on 18/12/2025.
