LOSC Lille: “Légendes du Nord”, a programme aimed at honouring "heroes and positive initiatives"

LOSC Lille (Ligue 1 McDonald's) has launched the participatory programme “Légendes du Nord” (Legends of the North), aimed at "honouring individuals within the region and the community, most often unknown to the wider public, who carry out remarkable and inspiring actions," announced the club on 24/02/2026.

The club, which "sees itself as a catalyst for heroes and positive initiatives", is inviting supporters to identify these “Légendes du Nord” through a dedicated platform. "Whether they are committed volunteers, high-level athletes, dedicated healthcare workers, supportive citizens, successful entrepreneurs or inventors, creatives, or individuals leading social and environmental initiatives - or from any other background having carried out a particularly notable action or inspiring initiative - these women and men, whether anonymous or not, act positively and for the common good. As such, they serve as ambassadors for our region, for the values of the North and of LOSC".

The club has set out several criteria to define potential recipients of this distinction:
