The airline Emirates has acquired the naming rights to the FA Cup for three seasons, from 2015-16 to 2017-18, announced the Football Association on 30/05/2015.

The competition is now officially called "The Emirates FA Cup". The contract is estimated at £30m (€41.7m), or £10m (€13.9m) per season, according to British media. The beer brand Budweiser had been the major partner of the competition between 2010-11 and 2013-14. The Budweiser contract generated £9m (€12.5m) per year for the FA. For that partnership, the competition was entitled "The FA Cup in association with Budweiser."

  • The FA achieved a turnover of £209m (€254m) for the 2013 financial year.
