Over 700 top flight clubs recorded €8.5bn in TV rights revenue in 2024 (excluding UEFA), up 3.6% on 2023 (€8.2bn), according to UEFA in its annual "European Club Finance and Investment Landscape" report published on 26/02/2026.

Premier League clubs generated a total of €3.407bn in TV rights revenue in 2024, compared with €1.371bn for clubs in LALIGA EA Sports, €1.143bn for those in the Bundesliga and €1.115bn for Serie A Enilive clubs. Ligue 1 McDonald's clubs posted a total of €482m in TV rights revenue in 2024, 2.3 times less than Serie A clubs.

"Thirty leagues distribute more than €1m of TV revenue to their clubs, with distributions in England, Germany and Sweden the least concentrated - the top three highest-earning clubs earn less than 25% of the league total. Austria could potentially join from 2026/27 as clubs have recently voted to support a more equitable distribution basis," said UEFA.
