Formula One Group: total revenue of $3.8bn in 2025 (+13.5%), sponsorship revenue up 30% to $670m

Formula One Group, the company that holds the rights to and organises the FIA Formula One World Championship, has posted $3.873bn (€3.29bn at 31/12/2025) in revenue for the 2025 financial year (from 01/01 to 31/12/2025), which included 24 Grands Prix (as in 2024), i.e. a 13.5% increase on the 2024 season ($3.411bn/€3.27bn), announced its parent company Liberty Media when it published its annual results on 26/02/2026.

The three main sources of revenue, which together totalled $3.086bn (€2.6bn, +12%), break down as follows:

• 31.3% from media rights (broadcasters and subscriptions to the F1 TV OTT platform), i.e. $966m (€821m), up 6.8% (on a currency-neutral basis) compared with 2024 ($904m/€868m). This segment also includes revenue associated with the feature film "F1 The Movie" (produced by Apple), released on 27/06/2025, which reportedly generated $630m (€535m) at the global box office, "becoming both Apple’s highest-grossing film and the most successful sports film of all time," according to FOM.
