Euroleague Basketball has updated the thresholds of its financial fair play regulations as of the 2026-27 season, announced the body on 27/02/2026.

These Competitive Balance Standards (CBS), introduced in 2025-26 to "ensure balanced remuneration levels," are based on the average revenue of clubs holding an A licence, required to compete in the EuroLeague.

The average revenue (Average Licensed Clubs Defined Revenues, ALCDR) is calculated from matchday, commercial and other revenues generated by licensed clubs for each financial year, based on the previous three seasons. Set at €19.489m when introduced in 2025-26, the ALCDR will increase by 14.4% to €22.298m as of 2026-27.

This 14% increase "reflects the business growth of EuroLeague licensed clubs across key commercial verticals accelerated by the growing strength and maturity of the EuroLeague ecosystem, which actively enhances business performance by driving sustainable commercial expansion, reinforcing collective growth, and creating an increasingly solid commercial framework for its clubs," said the Barcelona-based body.
