F1: Betway to become Formula One Group's 1^st official betting operator in selected territories from 2026

Betway, a British sports betting operator based in Guernsey and Malta, has become a regional partner of Formula One Group in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Canada and Mexico as part of a multi-year agreement from the 2026 season, announced the body on 05/03/2026. This marks F1's first sponsorship deal with a bookmaker.

Under this partnership, Betway will allow fans in the territories covered "to place in-play bets on driver and team strategy" (pit windows, on-track battles) as well as on certain race events (safety car occurrences). Priced odds provided by Betway will be based on F1 data processed in real time by ALT Sports Data, a partner of the British bookmaker since 2024.
