LFP: launch of a "Ligue 1 McDonald’s Club" on Strava (connected sports app)

"Ligue 1 McDonald's has taken another step forward in its fan engagement strategy with the official launch of its club on Strava, the leading connected sports platform," announced the Ligue de Football Professionnel on 05/03/2026.

This new club, launched in collaboration with French athlete Dorian Louvet, has attracted more than 3,700 subscribers since going live on 03/03/2026. "The massive participation observed from the get-go confirms that fans are looking forward to more interactive and immersive digital experiences," said the LFP, which is "the first football league" to offer such an initiative.

Among the activities planned as part of the club's launch:
• group challenges focused on consistency and effort to complement the season;
• recognition of commitment with special rewards for the most dedicated members throughout the year;
• exclusive content, such as comparisons of distances covered, maximum speeds and intensity of effort between club members and professional players.
